We have redecoarted our function room and hope everyone likes the results!  The room can be 'dressed' up for parties in a white, black or purple theme (more colours soon or by request) and the room can be hired for no cost for private functions (minimum booking applies).  This room has private access to the bar and is a great setting for families and friends to enjoy a meal or celebrate together.

We cannot quite believe it yet but the horrendous Harty Ferry Road is due to be completely resurfaced from the start of the road right down to the pub!! Work is due to begin on Monday and will take approx three weeks.  Work will only be taking place during the day time on weekdays and the road WILL remain open at all times.  You may experience a short delay trying to get through but please be patient as it will all be worth it in the end!! We already have many happy wedding couples who are now able to consider horse & carriages as their wedding transport which they would not have been able to on the old rutted road.  We have been pushing hard for these improvements and are thrilled that the council has set enough money aside to re-do the whole road rather than quick fixes on small areas.  Well done to the council and we look forward to putting the new road to the test!

Well, its 2012 already! I hope you have been enjoying the mild winter - hopefully it will stay this pleasant!
We are busy planning the year ahead...
We are already re-painting our accommodation, and we are planning lots of improvements for 2012.  A new childrens play area is high on our wish list, so we are hoping to get that done this year... and I am very pleased to have been allocated a nice bit of land outside our office to create a new herb, vegetable and rose garden - that should keep me busy and out of trouble this year!!
Private dining in the oak gazebo will begin this year, so we are really looking forward to that as well as hosting our first outdoor weddings.
We are really looking forward to all our lovely weddings that are already booked, and the Queens jubilee weekend should be a lovely celebration too this summer.  We have Murder Mystery dates already in place, and believe it or not but we have already taken some Christmas function and cottage bookings!! Eek...
